Dear Festival Friends:

The Feast of the Flowering Moon Festival Committee invites you and your queen to attend our 25th Annual Feast of the Flowering Moon Festival on Saturday, May 24th, 2008. The following itinerary will be followed.

10:30a.m.- 11:15a.m. Registration at the Walnut Street United Methodist Church (16 S. Walnut Street) Location change!

11:30a.m. Queen’s Luncheon. Your queen will be our guest. All court members, escorts, or chaperones are invited to join us at a cost of $11.00 each. The menu will consist of baked chicken breast, scalloped potatoes, green beans, roll and butter, dessert, and beverage. The luncheon will be held in the basement of the Walnut Street United Methodist Church, entrance on the S. Walnut Street doors (map enclosed). There is a place for the royalty to change clothing.

1:30p.m. Parade line-up. Parade will begin at 2:00p.m.

3:00p.m. Queen’s tour. We will tour the festival area with special stops at the Mountainmen encampment and the Native American Pow Wow area, where we will participate in a friendship dance with the Native Americans. The Natives are the main attraction of our festival and we are very excited to share this experience with you!

Please indicate on the enclosed registration form who will be attending our Queen’s luncheon. All registrations should be made prior to your arrival and are non-refundable. DEADLINE FOR THE LUNCHEON IS MAY 16th. We are looking forward to seeing you there!
